Riverdale to Hunter College

Midtown Manhattan ... a great place for window shopping ... and thats where my college is ..!
and thats what i do in my college... i look at it from outside ... i look at it from the inside and come out with nothing :) My brain starts working when i leave home in the morning and doesnt stop working until i log on to my machine at hunter college!

I scare everyone when i say i live in the Bronx! so let me put it this way ...i live near Riverdale... On the banks of the Hudson River, Riverdale is one of New York’s most beautiful residential communities. Mark Twain was from riverdale and so was Archie the comic character!
sounds better now... ?

Every morning begins with a walk to the 1 train and a 30 minute ride to midtown manhattan .... Lincoln center. i begin with " what a dull and boring day in the subway " and the moment i come out into manhattan..... all of a sudden...

"rang chamkile saare lagte hai ...
raah mein bikhre taare lagte ...
fool ab zyada pyare lagte hai ....
mehki hui se jaise hawa hai ...
kuch to hua hai kuch ho gaya hai" (kal ho na ho)

Theres a cross town bus from Lincoln Center to Hunter College through central park and its almost always overflowing with people... The drive through central park is the only times i see natural landscape in this urban jungle... the bus moves slowly winding its way through central park and then come all the designer shops ... with manequins displaying lovely bridal wear, kids wear ,designer jewellery and of course ... GODIVA chocolatier ... and there comes 695 Park Avenue ... and i can smell some poor chicken being fried by the roadside vendors ..

I walk in happily and then i dont remember what happens next ... coz as i said before my brain stops functioning when i get to Hunter College :D
